OUR MANAGING DIRECTOR
Irene Vantaraki, Managing Director of AVADAR TRANSATLANTIC, is a public and international affairs adviser and investor relations strategist. She has been collaborating with governments, prominent individuals and corporations across the United States, Europe and the Middle East, delivering tangible results in the fields of government affairs and reputation management.
Irene held senior advising posts with major corporations and organizations, showcasing her expertise and influence.
Among her notable positions, she has served as Special Adviser to the Vice President of Motor Oil, the leading petroleum company in Southeastern Europe (SEE) and the Mediterranean, a role that involved providing strategic guidance and counsel to the company’s leadership. As Executive Public Affairs Director at the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Mexico, with Jurisdiction for all the countries of Central America, the Island Countries of the Caribbean, Colombia, and Venezuela, she effectively managed public affairs and communications for the organization, contributing to its prominence and engagement in the regions.
She was also involved with the Research Institute for European and American Studies (RIEAS), a renowned Greek institute focused on fostering transatlantic partnerships.
In the art world, Irene was the Founder and CEO of Vandiri Art NYC, a New York-based company offering bespoke art advice and organizing high-level art exhibitions worldwide. In this context, she partnered with entities such as Luis Vuitton NYC and Malborough Gallery. She was also the Head of International Relations and a Member of the Executive Committee at the prestigious Art Thessaloniki International Contemporary Art Fair.
Furthermore, she was a Board Member of the Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center, a global non-governmental organization dedicated to championing ocean conservation. Her involvement in this influential NGO reflects her commitment to preserving the world’s oceans and promoting environmental sustainability.
Irene is the Founder and Chair of the Board of Greek House Davos, an independent, non-partisan and non-profit initiative, highly active in the environment and network of the World Economic Forum that brings together decision-makers, business leaders, and influential foundations & organizations.
Her dedication to her craft has earned her influential roles globally. In 2023 she was appointed Honorary Ambassador of the City of Odesa in the Hellenic Republic. This appointment is a testament to her commitment, dedication, and hard work in promoting the interests of Odesa in Greece and contributing to the improvement of relations between them. In addition, she is a trusted collaborator with the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople by contributing her valuable insights and expertise.
